Michael Bell, the son of Beverly and Lee Bell of McTyre’s Cove, is the winner of the Neighborhood Residents Council logo contest. He was awarded $50 for his design by NRC Chair Mamie McNeal at the May 17 NRC meeting.

Bell is a junior at Clover Hill High School. His favorite classes are mathematics and computer science, and he aspires to become an architectural engineer. Along with two other students, he is building a miniature house for a computer science project. Bell enjoys golf, reading, electronic gaming systems, and helping his family and his McTyre’s Cove neighbors maintain their homes.

Bell designed the winning logo on his computer, using the design of Brandermill neighborhood signs as inspiration.

Bell will be a member of the CHHS class of 2011, the first class to graduate from the newly constructed school located off Genito Road at 13303 Kelly Green Lane.
